I’m trying to eat healthier in college. What are some meals that are really easy and fast to make or even just healthy snack foods? Something like oatmeal or cereal. All I have is a fridge and a microwave. Thanks x3

gosh living/eating in a dorm *****!!! i’m so glad i’m done with that…
anyway, you might want to try fruits and veggies..you can keep them in a fridge and you’re supposed to be eating them anyway! salad is always good. tuna can be kept in your room and is good too…i’m really not that much of a nutritionist, but i’m trying to remember what things we used to keep in our room, theres always those soup bowls…like the healthy choice ones…i don’t know if they’re the HEALTHIEST out there, but its better for you than a peanut butter/fluff sandwich..lol
just think about healthy food when you’re shopping, look in the freezer section for the healthy choice and smart ones meals..or the lean cuisine. eating healthy in a dorm isn’t necessarily the easiest thing to do, but its not impossible!

For breakfast you can get things like yogurt, granola bars, fruit, cereal, get whole wheat bread, you can make toast with peanut butter for a take-with-me breakfast.
Snacks… I would say go with fruit, and veggies things like carrots and celery are good with some low fat ranch dressing. Also string cheese is a good snack. Apples with peanut butter or cheese. 100 calorie snack packs are easy and portable, but not always the HEALTHIEST snack… I would only eat those when a craving comes along. Oh and fat free pudding is a good snack too.
Lunches, I love those frozen healthy meals like Lean cuisine, healthy choice, smart ones. They are pretty low cal, but watch the sodium, try and stay under 700 mg of soduim. Also the South Beach diet wrap kits are good and even come with a jello for desert. You can also never go wrong with tuna or chicken (packed in water - not oil) spread it on some whole wheat bread or whole wheat pita, or even a low carb tortilla and you have yourself a quick and easy lunch!
Hmmm… Dinner…. Again… the healthy frozen meals are good here. YOu can heat up some frozen veggies (Green giant have these new frozen packages that you can steam in the microwave, whole wheat pasta (put in some water and heat in the microwave to cook.
